So you’ve said all the right words, maybe in a “prayer” maybe in a conversation with a friend. And now, they are starting to sound just like, well, words. Words without meaning, without emotion or power. And when you know in your core that you are ready to take a leap of insane faith, you may find yourself wanting to make a declaration or express yourself in a different form. You want to do this just to solidify the fact that what you are about to do is out of the ordinary. I went for a walk this afternoon to clear the monkey chatter that likes to play around in my head. I revisited our camp fire we made last nite as it’s in a secluded spot, so I could feel comfortable thinking out loud if I needed. With no one around but my Saber Toof Dragon (our Min Pin puppy), I still didn’t have the words. That’s when I picked up my stick and made a few declarations in the ashes.
I made a few other declarations that are between God and all of His creative forces around my life, but you get the idea.
Things to question:
1. What does it mean to live creatively?
2. Do we really have the power to create the life we want?
